Another month older. (7 months)

Fred is seven months old. He is growing so fast, and becoming this fun person that Dev and I love so much. He seriously makes us laugh each day. His problem solving skills are amazing. There have been times when he has tried to crawl under the chairs and has gotten stuck. I have been able to watch him whine a little, and then turn the other way so he could get out. He is babbling constantly it seems. And he has discovered his tongue, which is sticking out often. Fred's jumping capabilities have actually grown. He LOVES to jump, but hates the johnny jump. I am not sure how much he weighs, but he is now in 6-9month old clothes. He enjoys eating real food. His favorites are fruits, but he will eat anything. He has been fighting a cold for the past week that has been hard to watch as a mother. We are all finally able to sleep through the night, which has given us all tons of energy.

Now that it is September, football season has begun. The season where I will spend a lot of my Saturdays alone with Fred while Dev is at the Cougar Stadium in Provo. It is the season that the only thing that will be discussed in our home is football. We will be going through a roller coaster of emotions as the Cougars prepare for games, lose games, and win games. Devan is more than excited for this time of year. This is the time of year he lives for each day. Therefore, if there is anyone interested in doing some scrap booking on Saturdays (late afternoons usually) Fred and I will have all of our stuff out, so please come join us. We would LOVE the company.

Here are some recent pictures of the fam.
We went to Temple Square on the most beautiful day. Fred still isn't sure of the grass, but he is getting used to it.

These are some of Fred's favorite places to play, and my least favorite places for him be.

Fred absolutely loves spending time with his dad on the weekends and in the evenings. Even if it is just sleeping with him.

Or eating with him.

  1. Ah, the football widow. I know the feeling. Bevan has booked his entire weekend to watch games. I'll be stuck in utah county. We only listen to sports radio now and football is the only thing he can talk about... from now until December. Scratch that, I forgot about bowl season.
