I found this post I never posted, it is from the Brown Family Reunion 2011...
Last weekend we went to the Brown Family Reunion at Glendale Reservoir in Idaho. It was a beautiful weekend. My sister, Danae, and her family came from Oregon, as well as my father and his wife Linda. It as so nice to see all of them along with Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. This was Freddy's first camping trip ever. And let me tell you it was quit the adventure for all of us. Freddy had a blast playing with his cousin Sam and other cousins during the day. He laughed, giggled, and played to his heart's content. He even got to go on his first boat ride which he was funny about. At first he was very nervous and cried. As Dev and I clapped and said "wee", he tried to do the same but struggled to see the fun in the ride. There were no naps, all but a 20min one during a car ride with Dev. So we had one TIRED boy. Thinking that going to be would be easy because of exhaustion, quickly left my mind as 10pm rolled around and I was still holding my boy in my arms at the camp fire. He finally fell asleep, to only wake up at about 1am, and to scream for 2hrs. We had three other tents near us. No one got much sleep. And boy was I cranky the next day!! Devan convinced me to stay one more night, and it was ok. Freddy slept for about 6hrs before waking up. I strongly believe the problem was that we forgot his puppy at home. :(
